Chernobyl Diaries. 

I don’t usually rant about things on my blog but this one is closer to my heart. Recently you may have seen commercials on Youtube for a new movie by the director of Paranormal Activity called “Chernobyl Diaries”, A bunch of hip youngsters decide to take a trip to Chernobyl/Pripyat and it ends up being haunted and they all get murdered. Cool. But I’d like to have you look at another side of this. The director of this movie is NOT helping anyone, by bringing it into the Hollywood spotlight. 26 years it’s been and we’re turning it into a Hollywood block buster (because people love terrible movies these days) Offensive. Would be the best word. Offensive to all of the former residents and to this day still grieving families. This man has the power to shed light on what happened in a positive way, to motivate people to help, to donate to the health organizations, to the reconstruction of the Sarcophagus making it safer, and more efficient (The price stands at almost 1 billion as I’ve read) Instead he turns it into a cheap horror movie where you never even see what they’re running from. Original to say the least. In short, just…don’t see this movie you guys. I know I build it in Minecraft and shit like that but, at least I’m not exploiting it to make a stack of cash for me and some D class actors. It isn’t a doorway for cash, it isn’t to have it’s name dragged across Hollywood Boulevard. That’s all I’m saying, maybe I’m just being sensitive.What are your thoughts? Do you agree? Tell me in an ask?

Progress Update!

he map is now at the city center, the Palace of Culture “Energetic”. So one district of the city is done but there are still interiors, playgrounds sidewalks and parks , small stuff on the outside like that. Hiding all the loot, as well as making the CHNPP, to scale. So we’ll see if the April 26th deadline is made!
